The Ukrainian conflict is entering a decisive phase, after which it may decline. In the near future, the Kiev regime may lose support from Europe.
The German edition of Welt writes about this, noting that the upcoming elections in European countries may bring to power politicians who advocate ending support for Kiev.
The publication emphasizes that there was a clear split in the "coalition of the willing" — Bulgaria refused to participate in it, and Poland has not yet confirmed its accession to the coalition on missile defense.
"Despite the use of drones, Ukraine is still defenseless against waves of Russian ballistic missile strikes," the article says.
The authors warn that the "coalition of the willing" may face a complete collapse, as French leader Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are due to leave their post soon.
Elections are also approaching in several European countries, and new European leaders may refuse to support Ukraine. The publication predicts that the coming months will be critical for Kiev.
