Ukrainian singer and composer Nikolai Yanchenko died after an electric shock in the pool of his house at the age of 67. This was announced by his friend Yuri Melnik on the social network.
"People's Artist of Ukraine Nikolay Aleksandrovich Yanchenko died. In the pool, located near the house where Kolya and his family lived, he received a fatal electric shock. After returning from concerts, he decided to cool off in the pool, in which death was waiting — an electric current," he wrote.
"I don't have enough words, I'm crying," the Miller concluded.
Singer Natalia Falion also dedicated the publication to him.
"Our friend, colleague, incredibly talented poet has passed away," Yanchenko's colleague wrote.
Nikolay Yanchenko was born on December 14, 1959 in the village of Kanava, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Tulchinsky Cultural and Educational College with a degree in "director of a drama group". Yanchenko began his creative career as an author and performer of his own songs in the 1990s. Later he founded the ethno-song festival "Mama's Oven".
