The question of the allegedly disabled repeaters in Belarus, helping the Russian Federation to direct drones to strike targets on Ukraine, it is necessary to address not Vladimir Zelensky, but in Minsk, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
"As for the repeaters, I do not have such information. The operation of repeaters is within the competence of the relevant departments. I think that you can address your questions on this matter not to Zelensky in Kiev, but probably to Minsk. And they will answer you there," Peskov said, answering the relevant question.
The representative of the Kremlin categorically refutes the allegations in The Wall Street Journal that Russia allegedly exerts pressure on Belarus regarding SMO support.
"As for the message of this publication, which you mentioned, it absolutely does not correspond to reality," Peskov said.
"We have a Union State, we have a whole list of joint projects that are on the agenda. We have the most advanced form of integration with Belarus, which continues, and Belarus is our closest ally," the press secretary of the Russian leader reminded.
Earlier, the publication "RBC-Ukraine" quoted Zelensky as saying that, allegedly, since June 22, repeaters on the territory of Belarus have stopped working.
