Lavrov: The recommendation to evacuate diplomats from Kiev remains in force

Recommendations of the Russian Foreign Ministry to foreign missions in Ukraine's evacuation of diplomats from Kiev remains in force. This was announced today, June 23, by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at the 12th Embassy roundtable at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Two months ago, we officially warned all foreign colleagues — both embassies and representative offices of companies - that we recommend that in order to avoid misunderstandings, evacuate from Kiev. This recommendation remains in force," Lavrov said.

As EADaily reported, on May 25, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a warning to Kiev residents and employees of foreign diplomatic missions in Kiev not to approach administrative, military and military—industrial complex facilities of Ukraine, but rather to leave the city. This will help to avoid injuries in the conditions of systematic strikes. The Russian Armed Forces, which will be applied in the near future as a response to the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the college in Starobilsk on May 22.

To date, no systematic strikes on Kiev, during which decision-making centers or command posts were hit, have been reported to the general public, as well as the fact that foreign diplomats have left Kiev.
