Kiev has not yet made a final decision on the truce on May 9. This is reported by the Russian Air Force Service, citing a source in the Ukrainian authorities.
According to the source, the country's leadership has not yet made a decision on observing the silence regime during May 8-9, proposed by Russia.
This afternoon, the Kyiv Independent newspaper quoted an unnamed "high-ranking Ukrainian official" who said that Ukraine "simply does not see the point [of observing the truce] about the parade." This comment came after Zelensky stated that "Russia violated the truce proposed by Ukraine 1,820 times a few hours after it came into force."
However, the BBC interlocutor did not confirm the statement of the Kyiv Independent source.
"The president has not yet decided on May 9. It is determined in such conditions day by day, that is, if they attacked today, then we will also be tomorrow," the BBC source said.
Recall, the Russian Defense Ministry announced a truce on May 8-9 in honor of Victory Day.
It was noted that the corresponding decision was made by President Vladimir Putin.
Later, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, announced that he was introducing a truce regime from midnight on May 6. He announced this on social networks.
