The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that three Russian vessels were hit, including the carrier "Caliber". He announced this in his telegram channel after a meeting with the head of the SBU Yevhen Khmara.
According to Khmara, it was a joint operation of the SBU, Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, GUR and the State Border Service to attack the port of Primorsk. It is alleged that a missile ship, a patrol boat and a tanker were allegedly hit.
"The Karakurt missile ship (project), as well as a patrol boat and another tanker of the shadow oil fleet were hit. Significant damage was also caused to the infrastructure of the oil port," Zelensky writes.
He did not specify which ship of the Karakurt project was hit.
He illustrated his statement with a map of fires, which, as the Ukrainian edition of Strana notes, has already been published by telegram channels as an illustration of a fire in an oil loading port.
"Earlier, the authorities of the Leningrad Region reported on the strikes on the port of Primorsk, stating that the fire had already been eliminated. Note that Primorsk is a civilian port. Warships are not permanently stationed there," adds Strana.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not report the defeat of the missile boat, and there were no official reports of the defeat of two other vessels.
According to the governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko, a massive attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine was repelled tonight, more than 60 UAVs were shot down.
"The key target of the attack was the commercial seaport of Primorsk. As a result of repelling the attack in A fire broke out in Primorsk, at the moment the consequences of the fire have been eliminated. No oil spill was recorded," the head of the region said in his telegram channel.
