Moscow has repeatedly noted that in order to stop the SMO hot phase, Ukraine must withdraw its troops from Donbass, but Russia did not set any deadlines. This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
"No, there are no deadlines, this is all wrong," Peskov commented on reports about the deadlines allegedly set by Russia for the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We have repeatedly said: In order to stop the hot phase of the special military operation, it is necessary that Ukraine withdraw its troops from Donbass. This must be done," the Kremlin spokesman stated.
