St. Petersburg rapper Fuze (Artem Brovkov ), the founder of the Krec group, was killed in an accident. This was announced on social networks by his wife Valentina Berezkina.

"Artyom is no more, he died in a terrible accident on the evening of April 1, I was not there. The doctors did everything they could, but they couldn't save him," she wrote.

Berezkina added that she would share information when it was clear what to do next. She is currently waiting for permission to collect the body.

Berezkina did not tell the circumstances of the road accident and where it occurred. Presumably, the accident occurred in the United States, since the musician has spent the last few years in this country.

Brovkov was 46 years old.

The musician founded the Krec project in 2001 together with beatmaker Marat. Within the framework of the project, 15 studio albums were released, since 2013 Fuze has been leading the project independently. He is the only permanent participant, the main MS and author of most of the texts.

In March 2025, the Ministry of Justice declared Brovkov a foreign agent. The agency indicated that he opposed a special military operation on In Ukraine, disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, and also participated in the creation of materials by foreign agents. In August of the same year, Brovkov tried to challenge the status of a foreign agent in the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow, but he failed.
