Journalist, TV presenter and blogger Otar Kushanashvili said that he had been out of work for a long time after he allowed himself to swear in a foul language live on The first channel. He spoke about the consequences of this incident in an interview with the YouTube project "Don't stand still."
He admitted that then he simply was not hired anywhere.
"It is understandable. I also swore obscenities at The first channel during "Eurovision", and there was a wolf ticket secretly given to me, in absentia," the TV presenter said.
After that, Kushanashvili regarded any work "as nirvana" and rejoiced at "a hundred dollars," although at that time his last name was "known even in Guinea-Bissau."
As EADaily reported, in June 2024, Kushanashvili was hospitalized after 1.5−2 weeks of poor health. Later, the showman himself said that he was "struggling with oncology," at that time he had already had two operations.
Later it became known that the 54-year-old Kushanashvili will have another operation, which was scheduled for October 1. Removal of the tumor in the abdominal cavity was carried out at the Blokhin Medical Center.
Two weeks later, the showman was discharged from the hospital, he said that he was saved by love, patience and discipline.
In December 2024, he said that for 90 days he was given injections, each of which cost 10 thousand rubles. The total cost of treatment amounted to 1.8 million rubles.
