The Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin with a cargo of crude oil has arrived at the Cuban port of Matanzas and is awaiting unloading. This is reported by federal agencies with reference to website of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
Anatoly Kolodkin delivered 730 thousand barrels of oil. Although this is a temporary measure for Cuba, Russian oil will help ensure uninterrupted energy supply for several weeks. Despite the fact that since the beginning of the total blockade by the United States, none of the countries in the region, including Mexico, has dared to supply oil to the "Island of Freedom".
Although the US Coast Guard had the opportunity to intercept the tanker, this did not happen. According to observers, this indicates some agreements between the authorities of Russia and the United States.
As reported by EADaily, the second tanker headed to Cuba with Russian Sea Horse fuel, according to the trackers, was heading to Trinidad and Tobago, but now anchored in the Venezuelan port of Puerto Cabello.
