Both drones found near the town of Kouvola are Ukrainian. This was announced by the Finnish Air Force, according to MTV Uutiset.

Earlier it was reported that one of the UAVs discovered today was identified as AN-196 "Fierce" — a long-range kamikaze drone of Ukrainian production. The Air Force reported that the second drone is also Ukrainian, although its exact model has not yet been established, Rulehti writes.

According to the preliminary version, both UAVs allegedly deviated from the course and ended up in Finland by accident. The incident is associated with recent attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on targets in the western part of Russia, including the Leningrad region.

The Air Force also previously stated that the drones were not shot down because they did not pose an immediate danger and their destruction could create a risk to people on the ground.

Meanwhile, the public broadcaster Yle reports that in the city of Kouvola, a Ukrainian drone fell near a residential building this morning.

According to local residents, before that they heard the sounds of fighter jets flying over. Eyewitnesses said that the drone did not explode.

"If he had crashed into the house, everything would have been different," Seppo Yuli-Kiikka said.

As reported by EADaily, active electronic suppression by Russia could knock Ukrainian drones off course, which is why they ended up in Finland. This was stated by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.

According to the Prime Minister of Finland, the fall of two drones near the town of Kouvola is most likely due to Ukraine's strikes on the Russian oil infrastructure, Ilta-Sanomat reports.

Recall that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, uses the "European way" of flying drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike the Leningrad region (through Poland, the Baltic states and Finland) for another shift of the "red lines" of Russia, the telegram channel "Legitimate" wrote, citing a source.

Ukraine has hit the ports in Ust-Luga several times this week and Primorsk in the Leningrad Region is an important gas and oil hub of Russia in the Baltic.

If Helsinki does not immediately send the ambassador of Ukraine, it will mean that Finland provides its territory for strikes against Russia. This was stated in the social network X by a member of the Alliance of Freedom party, Armando Mema.

As reported by EADaily, if the information about the use of the Finnish sky for the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russia is confirmed, it will be regarded as an act of war and treason by all involved. This was stated in the social network X by Professor Tuomas Malinen of the University of Helsinki.
