The United States and Israel have attacked a nuclear facility in Iran's Khondab. This is reported by the Iranian FARS news agency and confirmed by the Israeli media.

"The Khondab heavy-water complex was attacked in two stages by the American-Zionist enemy. These attacks did not lead to casualties, and taking into account the security measures taken in advance, there is no threat to the population of the region," the publication says, citing the authorities of the Iranian province of Merkezi.

Israel stated that "the Khondaba reactor was still under construction and had not been refueled with nuclear fuel."
