The head of Gazprom Neft, Alexander Dyukov, said that now in Russia needs to introduce a complete ban on gasoline exports for 2-3 months so that it does not "wash out" of the country.
Answering a question from journalists whether a ban on gasoline exports is needed now, Dyukov answered in the affirmative.
"Yes, such a ban is necessary for 2-3 months, because we see a significant increase in world prices not only for oil, but also for petroleum products. In order to prevent the "leaching" of gasoline from the Russian market to foreign markets, where it can now be sold at high prices, such a ban is needed," RIA Novosti quotes the head of Gazprom Neft.
Currently in Russia has a ban on gasoline exports only for non-producers until the end of July. Large oil companies are allowed to export.
