Tehran has sent an official response to the US peace plan and is waiting for Washington's reaction. This was reported today, March 26, by the Iranian Tasnim agency.

"Iran's response to the 15 points proposed by the United States was officially sent last night through intermediaries. Iran is waiting for the reaction of the opposite side," the agency said.

It notes that Iran views the US proposals as another ploy.

Nevertheless, Tehran repeated its own conditions for peace: compensation for damage, as well as guaranteed reparations, plus the end of the conflict on all fronts, including against resistance groups of Iran's allies in the region. In addition, according to Tasnim, Iran demands recognition of its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, the United States, under the guise of negotiations, is creating the ground "for a new crime," while trying to appear as a peace-loving party, lower oil prices, and also gain time for a ground invasion in the southern part of Iran.

Earlier, the New York Times newspaper, citing sources, reported that the United States had sent Iran a peace plan to resolve the conflict in the Middle East, consisting of 15 points. In short, these are demands to abandon the blockade of the strait, nuclear weapons and nuclear facilities, the need to limit the armed forces and stop supporting proxy groups. In return, Washington expressed its readiness to lift sanctions and help civil energy.
