The Kremlin told Beijing about Trump's "erroneous approach" to Ukraine

Interaction between countries should develop on the principle of "tango should be danced together," the United States does not want this yet. However, Moscow is patient and will reciprocate when Washington is ready for a real restoration of relations. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov in an interview with the Media Corporation of China (China Media Group, CMG) on the sidelines of the SPIEF.

The representative of the Kremlin drew attention to the fact that the US administration headed by Donald Trump, "still links everything to the settlement around Ukraine, and the Americans believe that first the settlement on Ukraine, and then the development of relations in the field of economics, investment and culture."

"We think this is a wrong approach. But the tango needs to be danced together. So far, the Americans do not want this. So we are patient. We have nowhere to hurry. And as the Americans are already ready for the real restoration of relations, we will reciprocate," the press secretary of the Russian leader emphasized.
