The Finnish authorities need to face the truth and call Moscow. This was stated in the social network X by Professor Tuomas Malinen of the University of Helsinki.
A call to Moscow will solve the country's problems with oil and fertilizers almost immediately, Malinen is sure.
"Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland, do you want to destroy our country or face the truth and call Moscow? Russia, of course, is right next to us, so we can get oil and, possibly, fertilizers almost immediately," writes Malinen, quoted by Pool No. 3.
It's time for Prime Minister Alexander Stubb and his ministers to take care of their political legacy, the professor believes.
"Your entire political legacy will be determined by what you do now," said Malinen.
It is not the first time he has recommended Helsinki to improve relations with Moscow.
As reported by EADaily, Finland should immediately improve relations with Russia before the Suomi economy collapses. Tuomas Malinen, a professor at the University of Helsinki, appealed to the President of the country Alexander Stubb with such an appeal. According to him, Stubb should contact the Russian authorities immediately.
