The IRGC deported the container ship SELEN from the Strait of Hormuz under the flag of the Caribbean state of Saint Kitts and Nevis for violating the rules. This is reported by ParsToday Russian.
Passage of any vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is possible only with full coordination with Iran. This was stated by the commander of the IRGC Navy Sardar Tangsiri.
"The container ship SELEN was returned back by the IRGC Naval Forces for non-compliance with legal protocols and lack of permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The passage of any vessels through this waterway is possible only with full respect for Iran's maritime sovereignty," Tangsiri said.
As reported by EADaily, more and more countries are sending ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Obviously, by agreement with Tehran. Obviously, this will not solve the problem, but it will help the countries that accounted for the main exports of oil and gas from The Persian Gulf.
