The administration of US President Donald Trump has presented an unprecedented financial ultimatum to the Persian Gulf countries regarding the military situation in The Persian Gulf.
The details of this "proposal" were announced on the BBC Arabic channel by the Omani journalist Salem bin Hamad al-Jahuri. He said that Washington is demanding trillions of dollars from the monarchies of the region for the continuation or cessation of hostilities against Iran.
According to the Arab publicist, the American side actually transferred military support to commercial tracks, offering allies to pay for the participation of the US army in the regional conflict.
"$5 trillion is for the continuation of American military support and operations against Iran," al—Jahuri revealed details of Washington's demands.
The journalist stressed that this financial pressure has no analogues in the history of US relations with the Arab world. He also noted that the United States does not want to remain in the balance in the event of a cessation of hostilities.
So if the Arab monarchs decide that it's time to end the war, they will have to compensate the White House for the losses from stopping the war machine.
"$2.5 trillion is in compensation for ending the war and withdrawing forces if the countries of the region prefer de-escalation," Salem bin Hamad al-Jahuri said.
Thus, the United States seeks to rob the Gulf countries, which considered themselves to be their "allies". And at the same time, the Americans use the armed conflict, which they themselves unleashed, to blackmail.
At the moment, all this information has not been officially confirmed. However, channel experts note that this approach is fully consistent with the economic policy of the current US administration.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Third F-16 fighter of the Israeli Air Force was hit in the skies of Iran by the air defense systems of the Space Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
