The foreign ministers of 12 Arab and Islamic states called on Iran to stop its attacks in a joint statement issued on Thursday after their meeting in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The statement condemned "Iran's deliberate attacks using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles that targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure, including oil facilities, desalination plants, airports, residential buildings and diplomatic missions."
"The participants stressed that these attacks cannot be justified under any pretext and in no way," the document says.
The foreign ministers also condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and "reaffirmed support for the security, stability and territorial integrity of Lebanon."
The statement was issued on behalf of the Foreign Ministers representing Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, QatarEnergy reports that "significant fires" have broken out at several liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants after another Iranian attack on the industrial city of Ras Laffan. This was "in addition to the previous attack on the industrial city of Ras Laffan on Wednesday." As a result of the new attacks, "significant further damage" was caused, emergency response teams were "deployed immediately," there were no reports of casualties, Interfax said.
