Singer, People's Artist of Russia Valery Leontiev will not celebrate his 77th birthday on March 19 in Moscow. This was reported to the portal "Gazeta.<url>" director of the artist Boris Chigirev.
According to him, Leontiev does not plan to hold a big celebration.
"He will celebrate with his family. There is no big holiday planned, no. He is away now," said Chigirev.
At the same time, the director himself has not yet congratulated the artist on his birthday.
"I haven't congratulated you myself yet, it's a little early. The time difference. He is not in Moscow," concluded Chigirev.
When asked if the singer had gone abroad, the artist's representative did not answer.
As EADaily reported, on the day of the 75th anniversary of the artist in March 2024, the director of Leontiev, Boris Chigirev, told TASS that he had completed his stage career.
"Valery Yakovlevich has long since left the stage, just now he has officially announced it," Chigirev claimed.
However, in July last year, a number of telegram channels published fragments of Leontiev's speech at a private event in Moscow.
In November 2024, the artist took part in the anniversary concert of the composer and producer, People's Artist of Russia Igor Krutoy in Moscow.
Last summer, Leontiev performed in the town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer on the Cote d'Azur.
And in August, the star flew to the New Wave festival in Kazan.
Last January, Leontiev gave a concert in Thailand.
