The DPRK (North Korea) launched at least "one unidentified projectile" in the eastern direction, Yonhap news agency reports, referring to the military command of the Republic of Korea (South Korea).
According to the Japanese Ministry of Defense, this projectile was allegedly a ballistic missile. It fell outside the exclusive economic zone of Japan.
However, today, on March 14, the Japanese Maritime Safety Authority called on ships in the area to follow up on further information.
Later, the Joint Command of the Chiefs of Staff of South Korea (JCS) disseminated information that more than 10 unidentified ballistic missiles were launched from the DPRK in the direction of the Sea of Japan.
The OKNSH assured that they were exchanging information about North Korean missiles with Japan and the United States.
As reported by EADaily, last week the DPRK conducted a test launch of strategic cruise missiles from the destroyer "Choe Hyun", the tests were observed by the country's leader Kim Jong-un.
