Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was presented with a pregnant burenka, and the offspring of the cow should bring soon enough. The head of state, as reported by the BelTA news agency, promised that the animal "will be kept well" in his farm.
Commenting on the gift, Alexander Grigorievich also recalled the urgent problem of the death of animals.
"I can't stand it when animals die. Especially the calf. I grew up in the village. I have sheep and goats at home," Lukashenko said.
The source reminds that in the personal economy of the President of Belarus there are a variety of animals and birds — from horses and goats to ostriches and rabbits, there are dogs and cats, but the absolute favorite of Lukashenka is the pomeranian Umka.
Earlier, the President of Belarus said that the first thing he thinks about after waking up is harvesting grain and building a new pig breeding complex. Alexander Lukashenko is also worried that "the war with Ukraine will not come here."
