In Budapest, together with the collectors of Oschadbank, ex-SBU General Gennady Kuznetsov was detained. This was reported in his telegram channel by Ukrainian journalist Vitaly Glagola, citing sources.
"As I learned from my own sources, among those detained by Hungarian security forces in Budapest, along with armored vehicles and large sums of money and gold, is a former general of the Security Service of Ukraine. We are talking about Gennady Kuznetsov, a major general of the SBU and the former head of the SBU Special Operations Center for Combating Terrorism. According to my sources, it was he who was mentioned in the reports of the Hungarian authorities, where it was noted that among the detainees was a retired former general of the Ukrainian special services," Glagola writes.
According to him, Kuznetsov is a career officer of the special services, held senior positions in The Anti-Terrorist Center of the SBU, and was also associated with the Alpha unit.
As EADaily reported, the Hungarian authorities published a video of the detention of Ukrainian collectors of Oschadbank and photos of the seized funds of the Ukrainian golden convoy.
