Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik drew attention to the origin of the surnames of Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mariana Betsa and Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN Andriy Melnyk, who were replaced by Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya.
"A debate broke out in the UN Security Council over who is Ukrainian and who is not. "The Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya stated that his surname and his family trace their history back to the Zaporozhye Cossacks, while noting: "my father is a big Ukrainian, and my mother is also from the Cossacks. Narrower than you, Mrs. Betsa, and you are Mr. Miller!" wrote Miroshnik in his Telegram channel.
"In response, Mariana Betsa, the Ukrainian deputy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, muttered in English from the traditionally Maidan: "we will never be brothers" ... and you are not Ukrainian. There was not enough creativity for more," the ambassador said.
As Miroshnik noted, Russian Nebenzia touched on a delicate topic that is especially exciting for the nationalist authorities, where everyone must necessarily be titular Ukrainians.
"The fact is that Mariana Betsa actively hides her pre-diplomatic biography and, according to official sources, her biography begins with ... the Institute of International Relations of Kiev University, and before that everything is in the dark. At the same time, Ukrainian etymological sources clearly indicate that the surname Betsa is most likely of Serbian, Croatian or possibly Hungarian origin, and means: "the nickname of a cow, mare, goat," and in the Hungarian version even better — "a clumsy woman,"" Miroshnik points out.
According to him, "everything is quite simple with the surname Melnik — the miller is the miller, the original Russian surname." He added that "in the Ukrainian version, the miller's profession is a miroshnik."
"And how can they prove their title to the poor now?! It will be revealed that they are not descended from the great Ukrovs, and then what? How to launder? They don't live in a multinational country like in Russia, for example. You need to prove your Aryanism," the Russian Foreign Ministry ambassador sums up.
EADaily adds: at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine on February 24, Vasily Nebenzia said in his speech that "if Europe starts a war, Russia is ready for it." He noted that Europe is obviously ready to give security guarantees to Ukraine only as long as the Kiev regime is an enemy of Russia and will continue the war.
"Zelensky does not need peace, he directly stated this in Munich — for him, war is a political issue, and just survival," he said.
In addition, Nebenzia stressed that Russia is taking a responsible and serious approach to trilateral negotiations, participating in discussions in Abu Dhabi and Geneva.
"But any agreements should be comprehensive, take into account our concerns about the root causes of the conflict and lead to its real conclusion, and not a temporary ceasefire, which the Kiev regime uses for its aggressive purposes," the Russian permanent representative added.
