Europe is a post—democracy, it is a democracy, of which only a cardboard facade, a ceremonial, remains. This was stated in an interview on the YouTube channel of Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon ❶❷ who left Russian writer Mikhail Weller❶, who lives in Estonia.

"These are venal creatures... the essence of democracy has long been erased, freedom of speech does not exist, there is no open expression of the will of the people," Weller emotionally states❶.

In his opinion, now in Europe "before our eyes at a terrible pace" the state sovereignty and national identity are being destroyed. As an example, the writer cited the half-million legalization of migrants in Spain, which was launched by the government of the country.

"Wasn't socialism enough for you?" Weller asked Gordon.

"And now Ukraine wants to fall under socialist Europe, not realizing that this is socialism," the writer said.

In his opinion, "Europe is engaged in self-destruction," and he himself understood this "long before" US President Donald Trump appeared.

"Europe is dying before our eyes. Europe has already dug a grave up to its waist, and this must be understood. If Europe wants to stand on its own, then in another 20 years there will be no Europe, of course, there will be the same Eurabia, and it will treat absolutely everything differently," Weller is sure❶.

"What freedoms, what ideals? What are you talking about?", — concluded the writer.

Note, staying in Europe, so criticized by him, Weller ❶ gave an interview in a baseball cap with Trump's slogan — MAGA (Make America Great Again).
