The purges that began after the resignation of the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of the Republic of Kamchybek Tashiev continue in the state bodies of Kyrgyzstan. The speaker of the parliament, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, resigned. This is reported by IA 24.kg .

"I want to note that I have never worked for one or two people, I have always worked in the interests of the country, the Kyrgyz people. All this time I have been contributing to making important and necessary decisions in the country. I am not going anywhere, I will work as a deputy. We have to learn how to work without intrigues to preserve political stability," he said in a statement. in his public address after the incident.

On February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the resignation of Kamchybek Tashiev from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the State Committee for National Security. According to the head of state, this was done in order to prevent a public split. Kamchybek Tashiev himself said that he learned about his dismissal while on a routine check-up in Germany after heart surgery.

The resignation of the chairman of the special services was followed by the restructuring of the power unit. The deputy heads of the State National Security Committee lost their posts, the Border Guard Service was removed from the structure of the state committee, and a new State Security Service was created on the basis of the Ninth Service, subordinated directly to the president.
