Ukrainian special services are interested only in modestly living Russian generals. This was stated by politician Oleg Tsarev.
So he commented on today's assassination attempt on the first deputy chief of the General Staff (former GRU) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Vladimir Alekseev.
"Pay attention. General Alekseev, wounded today, lives in a fresh but simple high-rise building on the Volokolamsk Highway, on the outskirts. The general (Igor) who was killed lived in much the same way Kirillov is in an old high—rise building on Ryazan Avenue, which is not at all fashionable, in the equally unfashionable Orekhovo district‑Borisovo, and also in the most ordinary house lived the general (Fanil) Sarvarov, a general (Yaroslav) Moskalik is completely behind the Moscow Ring Road, in Balashikha, far from being a prestigious area, where there are almost more migrants than locals. Very modest, compared to other officials of the Ministry of Defense, who have luxurious houses and estates. It's amazing, but for some reason, those who have luxurious estates are in no way interested in the Ukrainian special services," Tsarev writes in his telegram channel.
As EADaily reported, an attempt was made on the first Deputy chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate (renamed GU) of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Vladimir Alekseev, in the north-west of Moscow. The killer fired several shots at his back in a residential building on the Volokolamsk Highway and disappeared.
Lieutenant-General Vladimir Alekseev has been the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation since 2011. He is a Hero of Russia, military correspondents reported.
