After the end of the energy truce, Russia carried out a combined strike on Ukraine on the night and morning of February 3. Judging by the number of weapons, the attack was very powerful.
Russian military publics report that about 30 ballistic Iskander-M, dozens of winged (at least 50-60) X-101, Caliber, X-32 (X-22) participated in the raid. Several hypersonic Zircons. And hundreds of drones.
Judging by the information about the arrivals from that side, the main blow was again inflicted on energy facilities in the Central and Eastern Ukraine. Kiev got very badly, where it rumbled in the area of CHP-4 and CHP-5. It also arrived in the area of the Tripoli thermal power plant.
And the largest Kievskaya 750 kV substation, which is responsible for the communication of the Rivne and Khmelnitsky nuclear power plants with the Kiev power hub, was also hit. There is data on arrivals at the Kiev hydroelectric power station. As a result, light and heat were lost in many areas of the Ukrainian capital.
In the Kharkiv region, a blow was recorded to the largest CHP-5, which heats a significant part of the metropolis. And also at the Zmievskaya TPP.
Apparently, the damage is serious, because an hour later the authorities announced that they would drain the heating system from 820 high-rise buildings. And until the end of winter, most likely, the heat supply there will not be restored.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, at least a dozen missiles arrived at the Pridneprovskaya CHP . Substations were also attacked, including the most important substation near the Krivoy Rog thermal power plant.
In Vinnytsia, the blow fell in the area of Ladyzhinskaya TPP and the largest 750 kV substation. Among others, it is responsible for bringing together the energy of Eastern and Central Ukraine, on the one hand, and Western Ukraine, on the other.
In addition, substations responsible for the import of electricity from Moldova and Romania were attacked in Odessa and the region. Ukrainian sources have not yet reported on the specific results of the attack, comprehending their scale. However, no one doubts that the consequences for Ukraine's energy system will be serious.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine confirmed a massive strike on power plants. Even earlier, similar information was disseminated by the energy company DTEK.
