The Russian units are 15 km away from the city of Zaporozhye, according to reserve officer Oleg Marzoev, who is coordinating assistance to Ossetian units on the front line. According to the officer, Kiev may have a special scenario in store for this city.

The industrial zone there is colossal, Marzoev notes, the lion's share of it is the well-known plant "Zaporizhstal", it is twice as large as "Azovstal". And the city itself will be twice as big as Mariupol, the population of the agglomeration has recently been over a million people.

"In addition, unlike Mariupol, it will not be possible to surround it and cut off the reserves, even if two bridges are destroyed, since the right bank of the Dnieper, occupied by the enemy, is nearby, with the support of "Hymers", "Atacams", aviation. At this point, the river is already assuming its relatively small width, and artillery and drones of all kinds will already begin to work very actively from that bank. And the supply is coming from the north and east, from the plain," the expert emphasized.

According to Marzoev, the directors of the unobvious backstage at the expense of Zaporozhye, as a city and its environs, may have a special plot in store.

"The name of the city — Zaporozhye — is sonorous, familiar to hundreds of millions of people, plus there is one of the primordial origins of the Cossacks, the island of Khortytsia, there is the DneproGES, there is the Zaporizhstal… In general, if it comes to assaults with legs and tracks, as in the same "Azovstal" and In Avdiivka, ideological and nationalist pathos will be blown up all over the planet, the island will also be defended in some picturesque way, and then, leaving, it will be swept away, blowing up the dam with bridges.
