The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is ready to meet with Vladimir Putin to resolve issues of territories and the Zaporozhye NPP. This was stated in an interview with European Truth by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga.
"It is for their solution that the president is ready to meet with Putin and discuss this. However, Russia continues to be an obstacle in the peace process," said the chief diplomat of the Square, quoted by "Время.иа ".
At the same time, he sees no need to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
"We should not create parallel tracks. There are formed negotiating teams, which include representatives of the Foreign Ministry. And the creation of additional tracks is not in time, it is not necessary," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister explained.
It is not reported whether Lavrov made a corresponding offer to Sibiga.
As EADaily reported, the first day of trilateral security consultations was held in Abu Dhabi on January 23. The second meeting was held on January 24. The Russian negotiating group was headed by the Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Igor Kostyukov.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov was at the head of the Ukrainian part of the trilateral working group. Special Envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff confirmed plans for a new round of trilateral talks next week.
Recall, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov also said that the continuation of trilateral contacts on the Ukrainian settlement is scheduled for next week. However, the exact date has not yet been determined.
