The Russian Armed Forces resumed the use of 9M729 Iskander-M1 missiles with a range of 1,500 km. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring" with reference to Ukrainian monitoring resources.
It is noted that the 9M729 missile can carry nuclear weapons and covers the whole of Ukraine, including Lviv and Uzhgorod.
"24 self-propelled launchers of the Iskander—M1 missile system with a total salvo of 96 long-range cruise missiles 9M729 are concentrated around Ukraine," the Military Correspondents write.
As EADaily reported in November, the Russian Armed Forces used the 9M729 "Innovator" cruise missile for the first time, the American military magazine Military Watch Magazine (MWM) wrote.
