The Almaz-Antey defense concern, experts believe, is increasing the production of domestic medium-range 9M317M anti-aircraft guided missiles (SAM) necessary to equip the Buk-M3 complexes. One such installation is capable of carrying a full-fledged ammunition of six missiles, as reported by the Telegram channel "Military Chronicle".
EADaily also previously reported that experts assessed the prospects of the Lynx KF41 from Germany in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
If two years ago one self-propelled gun had only two transport and launch containers, now experts expect an increase in ammunition. Thus, the 9M317M missiles will make it possible to more effectively repel the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The aforementioned Almaz-Antey in September 2025 reported on the early production of Buk-M3, which the defense workers handed over to the Russian Armed Forces.
