The Russian multi-purpose super-maneuverable Su-35 fighter is significantly superior in combat capabilities to the F-16 and Mirage aircraft supplied to Kiev by the West.
This conclusion is made by the American military magazine Military Watch Magazine (MWM) after an analysis of the combat use of flight equipment in an armed conflict on Ukraine.
"The Su-35S has destroyed more targets in air battles than any other type of fighter in the The Armed Forces of Russia," the article says.
It is noted that this aircraft has become the main factor that prevents American F-16 fighters from operating in the skies of Ukraine in accordance with the NATO doctrine.
Because of this, they were forced to switch to the tactic of "flying at low altitude", based on masking the terrain using ground interference. This is the only way to avoid a collision with more advanced Russian aircraft.
The Agency emphasizes that the Su-35 has the most advanced capabilities for combat operations, as well as means of radar warfare (EW) and protection.
It is also noted that the R-77M air-to-air missile developed for the Su-57 was installed on the Su-35. This missile revolutionized the Su-35's out-of-sight combat capabilities, which previously lagged far behind the capabilities of modern Chinese and American fighters.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the American magazine Military Watch Magazine came to the conclusion that by the end of 2025, the advantage of the Russian army over the Armed Forces of Ukraine was quite clearly outlined.
