The owners of the tankers detained by the Americans turned out to be citizens of Ukraine. This is reported by Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Diana Panchenko.
"Owners of tankers, because of which some in Russia was demanded to start a nuclear war, and Ukrainians turned out to be: Viktor Baransky, Viktor Artyomov, Ilya Bugai. This is one company. Their employees are in Russia, Turkey and Ukraine and have long been engaged in the transportation of Russian, Iranian and Venezuelan oil. And they are not alone," she wrote in her telegram channel.
According to the journalist, the citizens of Ukraine are closely involved in the management of the global shadow fleet.
"Not for nothing. Odessa has been a world center of maritime competence since the days of the Russian Empire," concluded Panchenko.
