Lithuania can send its fleet to the shores of Ukraine as part of one ship. This was stated by the President of the Republic Gitanas Nauseda.
"Peacekeeping must be ensured both on land, at sea, and in the air. Lithuania, taking into account its size and capabilities, will join this quite significantly. We are ready to join the Navy unit. We are talking about a warship," he said.
Lithuania has been supporting the Kiev regime in every possible way over the past few years. Earlier, the adviser to the President of the Republic Asta Skaisgirite said that Vilnius is ready to send Ukraine has about 150 military personnel. At the same time, the capabilities of the Lithuanian fleet are extremely limited. In May 2025, for the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Lithuania received a new ship — the Dutch tug H-24.
