Although Poland is the most loyal ally of the United States in Europe, the Greenland issue worries it a lot. This was stated at a briefing today, January 9, by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
"Yes, I am very concerned about the issue of Greenland, and I am also very concerned about the events in In the United States, everything that leads to tension is ideological and political. I am probably the most pro-American politician in Europe. It's hard to imagine a more pro-American. Poland is an exceptionally loyal ally of the United States. I believe that if you are in such a position, then nothing is done on your knees, but they say what they think. In the circle of friends, you have to be honest about what you like and what you don't like," Tusk told reporters.
As EADaily reported, US President Donald Trump announced plans to annex Greenland in any way. He is ready to either pay or simply send troops to the world's largest island, which is legally the territory of Denmark.
