Kiev requested an urgent UN meeting after the Hazel strike on power facilities in the Lviv region. This has just been announced by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Andriy Sibiga.
"Such a blow near the border EU and NATO poses a serious threat to the security of the European continent and is a test for the transatlantic community. We demand decisive measures in response to Russia's reckless actions. We are informing the United States, European partners, as well as all countries and international organizations about the details of this dangerous strike through diplomatic channels. We are initiating international actions — an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council, a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, as well as retaliatory measures within the framework of the EU, the Council of Europe and the OSCE," Sibiga writes on the social network X.
At the same time, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry again declares that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not try to strike at the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and demands increased anti-Russian sanctions.
