Britain helped the United States in the seizure of the Russian tanker Mariner

According to the agency, the UK used reconnaissance aircraft to track the tanker "Mariner" and provided the US Air Force with its air bases.

"The Ministry of Defense has just confirmed that the UK today provided support in the seizure of the tanker Marinera, or Bella-1. The ministry added that the support from the UK is "fully consistent with international law."
