At the talks in Paris, the Coalition of the Willing, the United States and Ukraine agreed on the terms of the ceasefire, although it is unclear whether Russia will accept them. This was stated by a correspondent of The Financial Times newspaper on the social network X, citing sources.
According to the sources, the United States is ready to monitor the ceasefire line using sensors, UAVs and satellites and supported the provision of security guarantees to Ukraine that comply with certain provisions of Article 5 of the NATO Charter.
"However, serious questions arise about how many leaders will be ready to move from theoretical promises about the deployment of troops, aircraft or ships to fulfilling obligations that their armed forces, if necessary, will fight with Russia, if Moscow makes a second invasion," said Miller, quoted by Strana.
As EADaily reported, a draft of security guarantees for Ukraine from the United States and the "coalition of the willing" appeared, which are being considered today at a meeting in Paris. It was published in its telegram channel by the Ukrainian Public television channel.
Recall, the meeting of the "coalition of the willing" takes place in Paris. It is attended, among others, by envoys of the US President Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Ukraine is represented by the newly minted head of the office of the President Kirill Budanov*, the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada David Arakhamia and the head of the NSDC Rustem Umerov.
