The Ukrainian Armed Forces aimed specifically at civilians when they attacked the Kherson region on New Year's Eve. The evidence of this fact was pointed out by political scientist Marat Bashirov, illustrating the comment in the telegram channel with a photo of the Gorky Kut Peninsula.
"The first tragedy of this year. Kherson region, the village of Khorly, the Gorky Kut Peninsula, which is washed by the Black Sea. Ukrainian UAV attacked a cafe where they were celebrating NG local residents with children. Previously — 24 dead. There are about the same number of wounded. Among the dead are children. You can see from the photo that this is an absolutely open area and there are no military facilities and cannot be — everything is in the palm of your hand," Bashirov stressed.
EADaily reported that on the night of January 1, as a result of a drone attack on a hotel and cafe in the Kherson region, 24 people were killed, including a child, some burned alive. The UK qualified the strike as a terrorist attack.
