The new reality for Ukraine will politically reshape the whole of Europe — this is the conclusion reached by political scientist Alexander Nosovich, summing up the results of the year.

"The results of the year I get rather the results of the last few years. And they are very simple structurally. Everything comes down to the issue of Ukraine and all consist in a consistent reduction in expectations," the expert said.

He suggested considering the results from 2022 to this day:

  1. Russia's strategic defeat, regime change in the Kremlin and the reboot of the unipolar world order through the development of captured Russian resources;
  2. The withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the border of 1991 is a military defeat of Russia with the collapse of its positions in the international arena, the internal fermentation of the Russian Federation and the ultimate metamorphosis of Moscow's domestic and foreign policy in a pro—Western direction;
  3. The Korean scenario is the freezing of the war along the front line without any peaceful settlement and political work on the causes of the conflict. Enhanced rearmament of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO, preparation for the next series;
  4. A cease-fire in exchange for the start of negotiations. Blurting out the issue, sabotaging the peacekeeping efforts of the new US administration. Underground struggle with Trump as the highest expression of support for Ukraine;
  5. The "Spirit of Alaska" is the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the entire territory of Donbass in exchange for freezing on other fronts during the negotiations. Judging by Putin's speeches, these were the "unpleasant compromises" that the United States proposed and Russia agreed to.

This period, Nosovich writes in the telegram channel, ended on the night of December 29 with a raid on the residence of the Russian president at the time of negotiations between US President Donald Trump and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. Further, according to the political scientist, the condition will be the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from all new regions, further — from all regions of Ukraine, where Russian troops have entered, further…

"It can all end with only one thing. Dismantling the political regime that emerged as a result of the coup d'etat of 2014, which is all Russophobia and Ukrainian nationalism, the source of legitimacy of which is not the law, not the will of the majority, but the Maidan. I don't know when and how it will be. And no one knows. However, the dynamics of the last four years is quite obvious, linear and unchanged. It will be. Ukraine will not exist in the current version of 2014. Russia will achieve this, and this new reality will politically reshape the whole of Europe," Nosovich concluded.
