One Ukrainian UAV flying in the direction of the Novgorod region was shot down over the Smolensk region. 18 Ukrainian UAVs flying in the direction of the residence of the President of the Russian Federation were intercepted over the Novgorod region before 7.00 Moscow time on December 29, and from 7.00 to 9.00 Moscow time, 23 more Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted," the department's telegram channel says.

This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. All drones have been destroyed, the minister said. "Russia's negotiating position will be revised taking into account the final transition of the Kiev regime to a policy of state terrorism," Lavrov said.

Recall, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, called the statement about the attack on the residence of the President of Russia in the Novgorod region a lie.
