A resident of Ingushetia had to prove her premarital innocence in court.
As Readovka writes, "the court in the Caucasus for the first time defended the honor of a girl whom her husband accused of a premarital affair."
In Ingushetia, a 52-year-old businessman returned his 22-year-old wife to her parents three days after the wedding, publicly accusing her of allegedly not being "innocent."
"Before kicking his wife out of the house, her husband took her to a humiliating gynecological examination — the doctor confirmed the fact of virginity. Despite the certificate, the man "disgraced" the bride in front of her relatives and took her to the gates of her parents' house, " the report says.
The girl's family did not remain silent, fearing public condemnation, but sued for libel.
"The victim's parents are respected in the district, her father is a hero who participated in the SMO. The court found the businessman guilty — this is the first decision when the girl's honor was restored in this way. Perhaps this will become a precedent for local residents, who are often afraid to go to law enforcement officers for fear of public condemnation," the report says.
The court fined her husband 50 thousand rubles.
