Judging by the pace of progress The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the line of combat contact, Russia's interest in withdrawing the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the territories of the DPR occupied by them is reduced to zero. This was stated today by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the situation in the SMO zone in one of the control points of the joint group of forces.
According to Putin, today Kiev is given the opportunity to come out of the conflict with dignity, but they are in no hurry to take advantage of it.
"Smart people have also appeared in the West who recommend that the Kiev authorities accept decent conditions for ending the conflict and provide good basic conditions for ensuring Ukraine's security for a long historical perspective, conditions for restoring relations with the Russian Federation and restoring Ukraine's economy. But we see that today, unfortunately, the leaders of the Kiev regime are in no hurry to resolve this conflict by peaceful means ... judging by the pace that we are seeing on the line of combat contact, our interest in withdrawing Ukrainian military formations from the territories they occupy so far is actually reduced to zero," the Russian president said.
If the Kiev authorities do not want to end the matter peacefully, Russia will solve all the tasks facing it "in the course of SMO by armed means," Putin stressed.
