The Israeli Air Force during the attack on Iran has attacked the residence of the Supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

"This morning, as a result of a powerful sudden strike, we destroyed the complex of buildings of tyrant Khamenei," he said in a televised address.

Netanyahu claims that Khamenei could have died as a result of this strike.

"There are all signs that maybe the dictator is no longer in Iran," the prime minister suggested.

At the same time, the Iranian Foreign Ministry says that Ali Khamenei is in the operational center and commands military operations. Tehran also reported that as a result of today's attacks, the son-in-law and daughter-in-law of the supreme leader of Iran were killed.

Against this background, the Iranian Minister of Culture announced that the speech of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei scheduled for the evening was canceled.
