In St. Petersburg, the activities of a group acting under the guise of a religious organization, but engaged in agitation for the Kiev regime and against the Russian army, were suppressed. This was announced today, December 26, according to TC Readovka.
At the meetings, participants condemned the special military operation, held prayers for Vladimir Zelensky and spread extremist statements against Russian servicemen. They were forbidden to talk about their activities to the clergy, but were required to convey their views to relatives and friends. A round-the-clock "prayer schedule" against mobilization was also established.
The organization consisted of teachers of some educational institutions who concealed their participation. The last meeting was attended by about 70 people from different regions. In relation to them, the issue of initiating a criminal case for spreading false information about the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is being resolved, which provides for a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
