The SBU said it had destroyed the IL-38N anti-submarine aircraft

The SBU stated that it allegedly destroyed the only Russian Il-38N anti-submarine aircraft on the Black Sea. This is reported by DW❶.

"The Security Service of Ukraine has published a camera recording from a drone that hit the IL-38N. The date of the operation is not specified. It is impossible to accurately assess the scale of damage by video. The SBU claims that the plane has been disabled," the newspaper writes.

It is noted that the Novella anti-submarine complex is installed on the IL-38N. According to the SBU, the destruction of the aircraft allowed the naval drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike a submarine of the Russian Navy in Novorossiysk on December 15.

It is noted that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not comment on this message.

Recall that the message of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the destruction of the submarine "Varshavyanka" turned out to be fake.

As EADaily reported, the Varshavyanka submarine of the Black Sea Fleet, the destruction of which was announced by the SBU, is in good condition in the bay of the Novorossiysk naval base. The corresponding footage was published by the Zvezda TV channel.
