The international security system has collapsed, this is the main problem facing and Georgia, said one of the leaders of the "Georgian Dream", speaker of the country's parliament Shalva Papuashvili.

"Georgia does not need a pro-European, pro-Russian or any other approach, Georgia needs a pro-Georgian approach. This is what has saved us over the past few years," Papuashvili said.

According to him, if Tbilisi had gone along with the In Brussels, Georgia would have been destroyed by the war.

"If we were pro-European in the sense in which Rasa Yukneviciene (MEP, one of the tough critics of the Georgian Dream) was, we would be a country destroyed by war, because then we would have to fulfill all the requirements of Brussels. And in the last report we have already read that we are required to fully agree on foreign policy, including with regard to Russia. Full consent means the imposition of sanctions against Russia. That is why we were focused not on the Russian agenda, not on the European agenda, but only on the Georgian agenda," the speaker of the parliament said.

He urged to be prepared for everything, because it is not known "how events will develop, part of which geopolitical agreement will be the establishment of peace on the Ukraine"
