The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, believes that the US position on Ukraine's membership in NATO may change. He stated this today at a press conference in Brussels.
A change of position is possible because politicians do not last forever, he noted.
"The United States does not see us in NATO yet. Everything in our life — so far. Perhaps the position will change in the future. Politicians are changing, someone is living, someone is dying," Zelensky said, quoted by "Время.иа ".
This is an obvious allusion to US President Donald Trump and his administration.
Zelensky said that Ukraine has not abandoned the goal of joining NATO.
"We would like to receive such security guarantees. We believe that we deserve them," he said. According to the head of the Kiev regime, he also does not consider it necessary to change the Constitution of Ukraine, which enshrines the goal of joining NATO. The decision on this issue should be made by the Ukrainian people, he added.
Recall that today Zelensky is taking part in the EU summit, which is addressing the issue of financing Ukraine, primarily through frozen Russian assets.
