In 2025, Russia signed plans for cooperation in the military sphere and military-technical cooperation with eight countries. This was announced today, December 17, by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"We have signed such documents with eight countries, including Belarus and a number of Central and Southeast Asian states," he said.
In the military sphere, Russia has introduced a new format of plans for a three- and five-year period. It involves the exchange of experience in various fields of military affairs, training of specialists, joint exercises and other practical forms of interaction, as well as military-technical assistance and military-technical cooperation.
